This little cake is interesting. Not quite a scone not quite a hot cross bun, but somewhere in between. It is a very different version from modern recipes you find online. Packed full of raisins it is just the right amount of sweet for any time of the day. They can be served hot or room temperature. Leftovers can be frozen and defrosted when ready to be used.
