From a handwritten cookbook I found in an archive in Scotland. There is little known about the author or how she came about this particular recipe for Curry Powder. It is one of the more complex curry powders I have found from the era and the best so far in flavor. Curries were gaining in popularity as Great Britian colonized India. While a curry powder this particular one is a warm curry, it will not continue to build in heat as you eat your favorite dishes. Great in most of your savory dishes, meats, soups and stews, noodles, rice and my personal favorite butterred popcorn.
