This would be considered in the 18th century to be a Liberty Tea as there is no real tea in it. However, today we like to call them herbal teas. This tea is named after Elizabeth Kenton, the ssecond wife of the renowned frontiersman Simon Kenton. She was a fronteirswoman in her own right. Living on the fringes of the frontier her whole life. Not only did she reaise the children from his first marriage as her own,she raised their own children as well. She was known to follow her husband on the trail when she was able, and on their honeymoon trekked to Missour to meet Daniel Boone. She lived with the understanding of what frontier life was and could be like. Her strength and fortitude is why she is getting her own tea. Like the other teas, I did my best to try and match the tea to the person and what I believe their personalities were like. This tea is simple, however, it packs a punch. It is a favorite for when you wanat a tea but you're not sure what you are looking for, it also makes a great iced tea.
