This tea is considered a Liberty Tea because it has no real tea in it, today we would call it an herbal tea. It is named after Ann Rogers Clark who was the mother of the Clark dynasty, all of her children played an important role in the founding of our nation. From George Rogers Clark to William Clark of the Lewis and Clark expedition, every one played a part even all of her daughters. She was a strong woman in her own right living on the edges of the frontier for most of her life. She raised a family, worked the farm, and survived. Her hard work created the family name so many of us know today. So we honor her with her own tea. This tea is to the best of my ability styled after what I believe her personality would have had to have been like.
